Over the counter tags make this a hunt that can be booked at any time. No drawing is required for the 2nd and 3rd rifle seasons. However, a drawing is required for the archery, muzzleloader, 1st and 4th rifle seasons but all can usually be drawn with very few if any points.

This hunt is based out of a tent camp at the end of a rough 4x4 road in the early seasons but moves to and Airbnb when the weather turns cold on the later seasons. Whether in the tent camp or in the Airbnb, there is a chef on hand for the preparation of meals.

A large resident elk population make for great hunting on the earlier seasons and as the snow begins to pile up in the high country and elk begin to move down the mountains, the later seasons only get better as the elk from surrounding mountains move into the winter range.

Hunters can expect to be hunting bulls in the 250-300 class on this hunt with some larger being taken from time to time. .
